Before people would have to use a VCR to record shows and movies now customers/consumers can download. Movies/stream movies to watch instantly. The power of on-demand TV gives audiences the freedom to watch their favorite TV show wherever they are. There are loads of platforms- Disney+, Amazon, Netflix and Hulu and this benefits the audience.  After the closure of blockbusters and some HMV store, customers can watch their favorite show from their home. You have power because you could cancel the contract anytime. You could watch Netflix on your Smartphone, tablet, Computer, Laptop, Smart TV and game consoles. Netflix had started their own TV shows and movies as cobra kai and Bird box. Therefore, this gives the audience power as there could watch it whenever you go.

Newspaper can be accessed online as articles. The audience has the power because newspaper you could read articles on your smartphone. Started out as cheap and free. There are apps to read articles on your Smartphones, Tablets and computers. Some news articles you have to pay for no ads.

Gaming has developed over the years as now audiences can stream and download games on their consoles. Now gamers can buy add on via “the store”. Before customers would have to buy discs however now they are digital .You could download DLCs from stores or buy it digitally. You can do facial recognition with the PlayStation camera. Gamers could stream and download game from PlayStation Now. Spider man and God of war are the most popular exclusives on PlayStation. Call of Duty Modern Warfare is the most downloaded game on PlayStation 4.
