Denotation and connotation

    

Denotation : The boy is serious as a skeleton.The boy is starving as a wild animal.                    

Connotation: This suggest that the boy is thirsty for clean water to survive in the hot weather in his country.

Analysis: This affects on the audience because they want to help the people in the hot country and the little boy in the advert because his facial expression is sad it suggest he has no water.

Denotation:The chocolate is delicious like you're in heaven.The packet is purple as a galaxy.

Connotation:This suggest that the chocolate advert wants the consumers to eat this chocolate and telling the audience that the is mouthwatering to eat.

Analysis:This tells on the audience that the is telling you to eat this chocolate you'll be free with joy.
